Mbao FC lost to Simba 5-0 at the National stadium, then 2-1 to Azam FC before conceding a 1-0 loss to Tanzania Prisons in Mbeya. They later lost 2-1 to Mbeya City at Sokoine Memorial stadium.

Commenting on his team’s performance, the coach said poor officiating from match officials during their match against Tanzania Prisons and Mbeya City played part in their both defeats. He further said Sokoine Memorial stadium was the worst for his team as players played far below their form.

According to him, there were many blunders committed by his players in all matches, which the coach claimed to have contributed much in defeats.

Adding, the former Lydia Lydique and Vital O coach, said his goal keeper Ivan Rugamndiye led his team to their 2-1 defeat against Azam because he failed to properly arrange his defenders during attacks. Mbao FC who are sponsored by GF trucks & Equipment are now placed thirteenth in the league table.

They have won four, drawn seven and lost eleven. They have netted nineteen and conceded thirty goals.
